Film Journal | Street Art

Photo zine. 210mm x 210mm. 12 pages in 120gsm uncoated paper with a staple-bound cover in 170gsm uncoated paper. 12 images made on film using a variety of cameras and film stocks, and reproduced in superb quality. 

I love to use my photography to transform transient street art into a more permanent archive, preserving the voices and social messages of the artists and activists who make them.

By documenting this aspect of the built environment I hope that these fleeting works and the thought processes behind them are given the significance they deserve and secured as historical records rather than merely temporary installations.

They are important to me and I search them out. I value their vibrancy and spontaneity and the often very urgent way in which they speak to our society.
